Daniel Alfalla, Executive Director
Dan is the Founder and Executive Director of SoBroSol. In addition to being an accomplished musician, actor, director and producer, Dan has had an successful career as an executive for various technology companies. Dans experience in the Arts paired with his business accumen make him a perfect choice to captain our ship.
Irenerose Castillo
Irenerose is an expressive dancer and choreographer as well as an avid filmmaker. She has been working professionally as a director, choreographer, and dancer in the Anchorage community for the past 13 years and is currently the director of the dance program at West High School.
Steven Alvarez
Steven’s list of accomplishments here in Alaska and abroad is absolutely stunning. He works professionally as a percussionist, vocalist, stage actor, film and stage producer and music educator. He currently is the Tribal Administrator for Ugashik Traditional Village. As a Latino and Alaska Native, Steven provides a unique perspective on cultural traditions.
Carmen and Victor Romero
Carmens experience as an educator in Alaska for over 20 years gives SoBroSol an indispensable point of view, she has been serving her community as a teacher, professor, and now an advisory teacher for the Yukon Koyukuk School District. Carmen has also worked as a print and radio journalist.
Victor serves his community on several boards and has been a teaching pastor for over 25 years. He has worked in radio and TV. Currently he is the pastor of the Iglesia Hispana International de Anchorage. Victors advocacy of every individuals dignity is the beating heart and soul of our organization
Wanda Raimundi Ortiz
Wanda is an award winning interdisciplinary visual artist. Her art and performances have been exhibited all over the world. Wanda has long been a champion of Latino/a/x culture and causes through her art and activism. She has a brilliant mind and decades of experience helping organizations like ours.
